Melissa Grifka, LMFT
Melissa is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and graduate of University of Rhode Island. She obtained her BA in Psychology from Rhode Island College.
Melissa has over 20 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, and families who have struggled with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, emotional regulation, substance use, ADHD, and trauma. She has worked in community settings, hospitals, prison, schools, and been in private practice for over a decade.
She believes it is important to feel comfortable with your therapist and creates a safe judgement free space to explore and examine aspects of your life that are causing distress. Together you will identify goals and strengths to empower you to make lasting changes and help you with inner peace and balance. She will provide a person center, strengths-based approach with the feel of comfort and ease. Melissa welcomes children through older adults, as well as family, co-parenting, and couples.

Katie Divers, LICSW
Katie is a Licensed Independant Clinical Social Worker and graduate of Rhode Island College. She obtained a BA in Psychology, BS in Chemical Dependency and Addiction studies. Throughout her career, she has worked in school systems, out of school care, and inpatient substance use settings.
She has 8 years of experience working with those diagnosed with anxiety, depression, substance use, ADHD, and Autisum Spectrum Disorder. She supports her clients' needs around life transitions, relationships, truama, stress, social skills, identity, self-esteem, and emotional regulation.
Katie's practice is grounded in helping clients embrace their own strengths, and utilizing those strengths to foster healthily relationships, set boundaries, and work towards personal goals. She pays special attention to mind-body connection- helping clients identify and manage how their emotions may present physically. Katie currently holds a safe and welcoming space for young adults and upwards who are navigating life's many transitions. Her hope is to be an empathetic ear and therapeutic partner-here to help clients develop a strong sense of self and resiliency, and maybe even have a few laughs along the way.

Shannon Kinsella, LMHC
Shannon works with children through young adults. She provides a compassionate, evidenced based therapeutic environment to support healing, growth, and change. She is person centered in her treatment approach, which means she will insure your child feels understood, valued and supported.

Claire Perretta, LMHC, LCDP, CRC
Claire is a License Mental Health Counselor who has been working in Behavioral Health for more than 25 years. She is interested in working with adults in a collaborative fashion and in a supportive and safe environment to address issues such as depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, low self-esteem and difficulties that arise in daily life. She as an eclectic approach, often incorporating elements of Cognitive Behavioral therapies, Motivational interviewing, and Mindfulness techniques. Her experience includes working in community mental health doing case management, crisis evaluations, coordination of care, substance use treatment, and counseling. She also has experience in substance abuse rehabilitation centers and detox facilities.

Colleen McKenna, LICSW
Colleen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with two years of post graduate experience. Colleen obtained both her BSW and MSW from Rhode Island College, as well as a Certificate of Graduate Studies in Integrated Behavioral Health.
Colleen has experience working with a wide range of concerns such as depression, anxiety, bi-polar, trauma, ADHD, and autism, and is comfortable working with clients of all ages. She has focused her practice over the last two years on trauma informed care and supporting individuals with disabilities/ chronic illness and those who are a part of the LGBTQ+ community.
Colleen has an eclectic practice style and feels that therapy should be tailored to the individual. She believes that good therapy requires a sense of safety and trust, and tries to create that environment for her clients. She prioritizes mindfulness, healthy coping skills, firm boundaries, and self-care. Her hope is to support individuals as they grow and change, and have the privilege of walking beside them in their journey to become their best selves.
